How do I bracket a calibration set?
- Use the default calibration set to calculation the average of 5 using the
"Basic" calibration method.
- Then create a new calibration set by pressing Alt+Ins keys.
- Select "Point Bracket" from calibration method in the new set.
- Then select the "Bracket With" combo box and select the first calibration
set (Avg. of 5).
- The group list box on the right will start to show the bracket groupings.
To make the box update use the "Next" navigator key or press the Alt+PgDn keys.
What is check standard bracketing?
Check standard bracketing takes the average response from the calibration
pair and averages the bracket averages. The percent difference check and system
use the average as well. If a calibration set has only one response that
response is used instead of the average.
What is point bracket bracketing?
Point bracket bracketing takes the last response from the first calibration
pair and the first reponse from the second calibration pair. The percent
difference check and system use these same response values in their
calculations.
Do I need to dilute the sample volume on a related compound sample??
No you don't. On the old GenevaCalc program version 1.0 you did need to do
the dilution. For example, If the method called for 25.00ml as the sample
concentration you would format the concentration as 1/25 to get 0.04. In the
new related compound test method just use the 25.00ml in the dilution field.
